St. Louis – 3 Nights 4 Days

DAY 1

We will pick you up at your various hotels early in the morning, we then proceed to Banjul to board the ferry and cross over to Barra on the North Bank, where we will explore Fort Bullen, which is a famous anti- slavery monument and classic 18th Century British fort. After exploring the Fort, we then proceed to Gambia Senegal border for passport identification.

We will proceed to Kaolack which is the second largest city in Senegal after Dakar and known for its salt mining. There we will have our lunch and visit the local market. We will then proceed to Saly for our first overnight stay. There will have a tour for site seeing in Saly, in which our evening shopping will take place. After that we’ll then proceed back to our hotel for dinner. Then we will leave Saly by night, but this is optional.

DAY 2

After breakfast, we will depart for St. Louis with lunch stop at Thies. With few stops on the way visiting families, we will arrive in St. Louis for overnight stay in hotel De la Poste. City tour in the evening is made on horse carts for approximately 1 hour, passing by the market area and colonial buildings. We will return to the hotel for dinner. We will depart St. Louis by night after dinner (optional).

DAY 3

 After breakfast, we will depart for Paic N. Djoudy Park about 60km from St. Louis and then take a boat to the bird’s sanctuary. Lunch will be provided at the park and then return to St. Louis where we will have dinner.

DAY 4

 Depart after breakfast and head for Touba, a spiritual city in Senegal, where we will visit a gigantic mosque and later proceed to Kaolack, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will then proceed to the border and head for Banjul, back to our respective hotels.
